Moorhuhn is a series of German games that are extremely popular in Europe, but haven't really taken off in North America.  Moorhuhn is a German word for "Swamp Chicken" (or, when literally translated, "Moorland Chicken", otherwise known as the Scottish Red Grouse).

The original Moorhuhnjagd ("Swamp Chicken Hunt") game was created for Johnny Walker Whiskey by a German multimedia company called Phenomedia.  It has inspired numerous sequels, including Moorhuhn 2, Moorhuhn Winter Edition, Moorhuhn 3, Moorhuhn X, Moorhuhn Wanted, Moorhuhn Invasion and Moorhuhn Soccer.

The purpose of the Moorhuhn games is very simply to shoot as many of the chickens as possible in the 90 seconds of gameplay.  Hidden throughout the games are numerous puzzles and extra features that make them especially addictive.
